UPDATED: Closure of Jubilee Street, Blackburn - 24th August for one week

Advance warnings are in place for the closure of Jubilee Street, Blackburn from 24th August for one week.

Details are now available for the diversion route for the above closure.

Ideally try to avoid cross town travel by using Freckleton Street and/or Byrom Street, Audley Range, Barbara Castle Way etc. If you need to go through Jubilee Street or Raillway Road diversion signs will be in place.

Bus Services: Services 1, 2, 4, 4A, 4B, D12, 12A, 12C, 23A, 24, 39, 118, 152 and 244 which  come in to the town from Darwen Street, Haslingden Road, and Preston Old Road will be diverted along Barton Street, Fielden Street, Montague Street and Barbara Castle Way to the Bus Station.
Service SHS from Shadsworth will divert from Audley Range, along Higher Audley, Higher Barn Street Eanam and Barbara Castle Way to Bus Station.

A temporary bus stop will be in place on Barton Street behind the job Centre to replace the one one side Debenhams as this stop won't be served.

Services that go out through Railway Road are already under a diversion along Bridge Street and will be unaffected.
