North Road in Blackburn is scheduled for a partial closure from Friday 24th October. This is to allow essential service connections for the new housing plots on the lower half of North Road.
This week was chosen as Our Lady and St Johns School is closed on the Friday and also the following week for half term, this will help to keep disruption to a minimum.
The closed section will be between Audley Range and Pringle Street. The diversion for all traffic including bus services 2 and 23A, will be Lincoln Road and Pringle Street, then back on to North Road. Work is expected to last one week.
