Timetable Changes 28th July

We have been informed that Transdev, Lancashire United will be introducing their Summer Timetable from July 28th. This will mean minor changes to most routes, to reflect the school holidays. Please contact Transdev direct for more detailed timetable information.

There are two major changes however which affect the No. 2 Darwen via Royal Blackburn Hospital and the No. 23 service to Shadsworth.

From the 28th, the No.2 will leave Blackburn as it does currently via Darwen Street then as follows...
Left on to Lower Audley, 
continues on to Audley Range,
right onto North Road, 
right on to Shadsworth Road
then into the Royal Blackburn Hospital via Old Bank Lank Lane.
From here on it will continue to Darwen as it does at present.
The return journey will operate the reverse of above.

From 28th July, the No.23 will leave Blackburn as it does a present to Darwen Street then as follows...
Continues up Grimshaw Park,
left onto Haslingden Road,
continues to Royal Blackburn Hospital via main entrance,
exits via Old Bank Lane,
left onto Shadsworh Road,
right on to Fecitt Brow,
right on to Rothsey Road,
right on to Dunoon Drive. (Terminus)

Service returns via Dunoon Drive,
left on to Shadsworth Road
then the reverse of above from Old Bank Lane.

New timetables will be available shortly.

Other Changes:
July 19th will be the last day of operation for Pilkingtons 20 and 20A  Accrington service via Rishton and Great Harwood.

28th July also sees Rossobus change their timetable slightly to reflect the summer changes and the school holidays.

Some changes for August have also been received. These will be published shortly.
