Sunday 13th July sees the 5th annual Darwen Grand Prix event, also known as Darwen Whacky Races.
The event takes on the Market Square and part of Market Street from 12 noon until approximately 4.30pm.
In order to accommodate this, it does mean that the bus station will close from around 9am and bus stops in the town will be temporarily relocated to other sites.
The southbound services, towards Bolton will relocate to the parking bays outside Boots chemist on Market Street.
The northbound services will move to Bury Street, a little further up than the central post office.
Parking will be suspended for the duration and temporary bus stops will be put in place.
