The annual fireworks display preceding the Lancashire Telegraph Carol Service will begin at approximately 7pm. The display will be followed by a Carol Concert indside the Cathedral at 7.30pm.
During these events, Astley Gate and Church Street will be closed to traffic. Services 3, 4, 124 and 152 heading towards Blackburn will be diverted along Barabara Castle Way to Ainsworth Street.
